Archbishop Carroll High School offers a wide array of academic, athletic, and arts-focused summer camps for young learners. Please contact the camp director if you have questions about procedures and policies about an individual camp.
Youth Soccer
The Carroll Soccer Camp offers the developing player a comprehensive week of exciting and educational soccer! Emphasis will be placed on individual skills, positional training, team tactics, small-side games and match play. Creativity will be encouraged in order to develop confidence in our campers. Our goal is to foster a positive attitude toward the game of soccer. Passing, receiving, dribbling, defending and finishing will be a major focus of our sessions. Players will be grouped according to age, ability and experience.
A feature of the Carroll Soccer Camp is Goalkeeper Training. Interested campers will be grouped according to age and ability and our camp staff will instruct the proper technical, tactical and psychological dimensions of the position.
Our Team Camp option allows teams to remain together during camp and be trained as a unit. Team training can be customized while individuals still receive the complete soccer camp experience! All campers will receive a Carroll Soccer Camp Shirt and participate in our World Cup Tournament!

Cost: $100; Walk-up registration available starting at 7:30 a.m. on the first date of camp; Pick up and drop off at Patriot Stadium. Camp runs 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. each day.
Girls' Soccer Academy
This camp is for girls entering grades 1-8.
The Girls' Summer Soccer Academy provides an introduction to the game for younger players and advanced training comparable to the Carroll Varsity Women's Soccer Program for girls in junior high. Coaches, players, and alumni from the varsity program will lead individual skill development and training as well as fun and competitive games during the camp. Participants will be separated into two groups based on age and/or ability level. Contact Camp Director Morgan Plummer for more information.

King & Queen of the Lanes Bowling Camp
This camp is hosted at Poelking Lanes -- 1403 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
Youth Camp (students entering grades 5-8 for 2024-25): July 29 - August 1, 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., $80
- Day 1: Basic instruction and drills from Archbishop Carroll High School coaches
- Day 2: Advanced drill work followed by full games
- Day 3: Camp wide singles tournament for the King & Queen of the Lanes Belt
- Day 4: Campers will be divided into teams and bowl a full high school match following OHSAA guidelines
High School Camp: July 29 - August 1, 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., $80
- Day 1: Advanced drill work followed by single games
- Day 2: Advanced drill work followed by baker-style games
- Day 3: 4 total singles games counting total pinfall
- Day 4: 4 total singles games combining total pinfall to crown King of the Lanes
- Each day will include one special guest speaker

Volleyball
Improve your individual and team skills with the Archbishop Carroll High School Volleyball coaching staff through progression training and daily team play. This camp focuses on ball handling, serving, hitting training, setting, individual and team defense, and team offense. Walk-ups are accepted on the first day of camp. Youth Football
Campers receive on-field instruction and application of football fundamentals and will learn foundational skills from varsity athletes and coaches. Athletes will be taught multiple position-specific drills and techniques that will jump start their youth football experience. Every athlete who registers by July 10 will receive a camp t-shirt. Registration is open until the first day of camp. Varsity football players are looking forward to passing on their experience to the next group of future Patriots!
Varsity Head Coach Cody Byrd invites all youth parents to the camp kick-off meeting on July 10th. Athletes and parents should sit in the home bleachers. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. immediately followed by the start of camp. Coach Byrd will present the outline of the camp, detail the mission of Carroll football, and speak to the vital relationship between our youth and varsity programs. Boys' Lacrosse
The Patriot Youth Boys' Lacrosse Camp provides instruction in basic lacrosse skills. All instruction is provided by the Archbishop Carroll High School Men's Lacrosse Staff and Varsity players. Fun drills and competitions will be conducted each day – great experience for new and veteran players! Campers should bring their own lacrosse stick and cleats. Please contact Coach Clay Roberts if you need a stick or for more information about the camp.
June 18-20, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Camp begins at 6:30 p.m. on June 20); Cost: $75; Pick up and drop off at Patriot Stadium. This camp is offered to students entering grades 2-8.
Girls' Lacrosse
This clinic focuses on three areas:
- Drills & Games - Promotes the ability of the player to move quickly and agilely in all directions in a lacrosse environment.
- Individual Skills - Improve stick work using both hands, footwork, and body positioning on offense and defense.
- Using learned skills in small-sided games to improve each player's field sense.
Register by May 28 to guarantee a reversible practice jersey! Participants should bring lacrosse stick and goggles (some available to borrow), mouthpiece, athletic shoes/molded cleats, and a water bottle. Contact Camp Director Mike Hilton for more information.
This camp is available to students entering grades 5-9. June 25-27, 6:30-8:00 p.m.; Cost: $60; Pick up and drop off at Patriot Stadium.
Cross Country
A fun 3-day camp for students entering grades 1-8 that introduces the awesome sport of cross country and prepares campers for success. Carroll Cross Country coaches and athletes will lead fun activities focusing on endurance, speed, strength, mobility, and running form. The final day of the camp will feature camp races of various distances, depending on the level and ability of each camper. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt. PATS Camp
PATS Camp, or Patriot Adaptive Training and Sports Camp, is a four-day camp provided by Archbishop Carroll High School for anyone ages 3-21 with special needs. Each day, the camp focuses on a different sport with support from current Carroll athletes. PATS Camp is completely free of charge, and campers can attend any or all sessions they choose! Youth Band Pop Music Camp
Come and learn to play pop music charts with your friends! This music experience is geared for traditional band instruments, but we welcome guitar, bass, and drumset players as well! Students will learn popular favorites and build technique on their instruments. This camp is for musicians entering grades 6-8 who have some experience playing the instrument of their choice. Family and friends are invited to our closing recital concert on June 27 at 2:15 p.m.! Students must provide their own instrument. Theatre Arts & Drama
This camp will teach the fundamentals of acting by implementing a series of programs tailored for students entering grades 5-9. Students will learn improvisation, character development, acting, singing, dancing, fundamentals of set construction, stage makeup, costume design, technical theatre, and scene design. A t-shirt, daily snack, and Friday pizza provided for the students. The camp ends with a student show for families at noon on the big stage with sound and lights! Patriot STEM
In this engaging science camp, students will encounter lessons and hands-on activities involving anatomy, microbiology, chemistry, physics, and earth science. The fee for this camp covers all materials and safety equipment, snacks, and a t-shirt for participants. T-shirt sizes are only guaranteed for those who register before June 1, 2024.
